As you know coffee is a very popular drink around the world, so in different countries they drink it in different ways, that’s why there are so many different names for coffee beverages.
Americano or Coffee Americano
A drink of espresso coffee diluted with hot water.
A type of coffee made with espresso and milk that has been frothead up with pressurized steam. Named after capuchin monks, as the color resembles that of their habits.
Latte or Coffee Latte
A type of coffee made with espresso and hot steamed milk.
Espresso or coffee espresso
A type of strong black coffee made by forcing steam through ground coffee beans.
Iced black coffee laced with brandy or rum, traditionally served in an earth ware goblet and drunk through a straw.
Espresso coffee served with a very small amount of hot or foamed milk.
A drink of espresso coffee with a small amount of steamed milk, from the Spanish cortado, literally cut coffee, from cortar (to cut).
Strong concentrated espresso.
Coffee served with whipped cream or hot milk, from the French mélange, from mêler (to mix).
A type of coffee made with espresso and hot steamed milk, but without the froth characteristic of a cappuccino.
Coffee served with foam and whisky.
A type of coffee made with chocolate syrup or chocolate flavoring.
The French for coffee with brandy or rum.
Coffee mixed with a dash of Irish whiskey and served with cream on top.
